Jonathan Mendez is a seasoned hospitality executive and the co-founder of A Street Hospitality, where he currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer. His journey into the world of hospitality began during his teenage years, where he quickly found his niche in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of restaurants. Although initially on a path toward a legal career, Mendez's true calling became evident as he immersed himself in the intricacies of hospitality.

A pivotal moment in Mendez's culinary journey occurred during his annual summer trips to Thessaloniki, Greece, where he joined Co-Founder Eric Papachristos and his brother in exploring their family roots. It was amidst the vibrant streets and aromatic kitchens of Thessaloniki that Mendez discovered a profound appreciation for the region's authentic cuisine. Inspired by the delicious simplicity and rich culinary heritage of Greece, Mendez envisioned bringing these flavors and experiences to the
American dining scene.

In 2012, fueled by his passion and entrepreneurial spirit, Mendez dedicated his free time to meticulously planning Saloniki—a Greek fine-casual concept that would capture the essence of Thessaloniki's culinary tradition while infusing it with a contemporary twist.

His vision crystallized over the ensuing years as Saloniki blossomed into a beloved culinary destination, renowned for its vibrant flavors, warm hospitality, and commitment to quality.

As the COO of A Street Hospitality, Mendez plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company.
